Dodge has announced pricing for the 2027 Charger lineup, and one change immediately stands out: the all-electric Charger Daytona EV is now significantly more expensive. While the performance-focused electric muscle car retains its impressive power figures and acceleration capabilities, buyers will have to pay substantially more to get behind the wheel.
The most notable adjustment affects the Charger Daytona Scat Pack models. The two-door Daytona Scat Pack now starts at $72,495, representing a dramatic $12,500 increase over the previous model year. Likewise, the Daytona Scat Pack Plus has climbed to $77,490. Four-door versions of both trims carry an additional $500 premium.
Interestingly, Dodge has not introduced major mechanical upgrades to justify the higher pricing. The vehicle continues to use the same electric powertrain, delivering up to 670 horsepower. Despite the lack of significant hardware changes, the Daytona remains the quickest Charger available in the current lineup.

Performance Remains a Key Selling Point
Even with the higher sticker price, the Charger Daytona EV continues to lead the lineup in outright performance. The electric muscle car can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.3 seconds and complete the quarter-mile run in approximately 11.5 seconds.
By comparison, the gasoline-powered Charger R/T requires around 4.6 seconds to reach 60 mph and covers the quarter-mile in 12.9 seconds. The Charger Scat Pack, equipped with a more powerful version of Dodge’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six engine, sits between the two with a 3.9-second 0-60 mph time and a 12.2-second quarter-mile run.
What’s New for 2027?
Rather than focusing on major engineering changes, Dodge has expanded customization options for buyers. One of the biggest additions is broader availability of factory-backed Mopar graphics, allowing owners to personalize their vehicles directly from the showroom.
New dual-stripe packages are available in gloss red, satin white, and satin black finishes. Performance enthusiasts can also select an eye-catching orange-and-black Brembo brake caliper package for a more aggressive appearance.
Inside the cabin, Dodge has introduced Petrol Blue performance leather seating with distinctive red stitching and unique perforation patterns for Scat Pack models. Additionally, Demonic Red seat belts are now available across multiple trims, adding another layer of visual customization.
The 2027 Dodge Charger Daytona EV remains one of the fastest and most powerful muscle cars in Dodge’s portfolio. However, the substantial $12,500 price increase may raise questions among buyers, especially considering the absence of major performance or technology upgrades. For enthusiasts seeking maximum acceleration and EV muscle-car appeal, the Daytona still delivers, but it now comes at a significantly higher cost than before.
